PHILADELPHIA — The Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania has released an investment guide to help philanthropists combat malaria, a treatable and preventable disease and major global health problem.

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania’s Law School and Wharton School are launching an accelerated three-year program leading to both the J.D. and M.B.A. degrees.

 PHILADELPHIA — A sizable percentage of high-net-worth givers do not see themselves as philanthropists even though each gives away about a million dollars or more annually.That is among the findings of a study by the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for High Impact Philanthropy.

PHILADELPHIA –- A new prosthetic accessory worn on the residual limb of a transtibial (below-knee) amputee was awarded the Grand Prize at the Fourth Annual PennVention competition for student inventors at the University of Pennsylvania's Weiss Tech House.

 PHILADELPHIA –- The University of Pennsylvania has joined forces with leaders from U.S. businesses, government and non-governmental organizations to launch a new initiative on business and the environment.

PHILADELPHIA -- Thomas S.  Robertson, executive faculty director of the Institute for Developing Nations at Emory University and former dean of Emory's Goizueta Business School, has been named dean of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.  The appointment, effective Aug. 1, was announced by Penn President Amy Gutmann and Provost Ron Daniels.

PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Pennsylvania has partnered with Microsoft to enhance the communications platform it offers to many of its students.
