Employee luncheons to explain Penn tuition benefits

Many Penn employees are aware of the generous tuition benefits offered by the University, but they are less sure about how to use them to pursue a degree or for personal enrichment.

The College of Liberal and Professional Studies invites all staff members to attend an informational Penn Employee Undergraduate Programs Luncheon on Thursday, April 15, to learn more about these benefits.

The LPS Recruitment team will provide information concerning employee tuition benefits, how to use them and how LPS’ degree and non-degree programs are flexible enough to meet the needs of today’s busy working adults. The event takes place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at LPS, 3440 Market St., Classroom C.

“The luncheons and information sessions that we hold for Penn employees offer a wonderful opportunity to meet informally with our recruitment staff,” says Nora Lewis, interim director and director of enrollment management at LPS. “It’s a great way to learn not only about the variety of our academic programs, but how the staff here at LPS can support you on your educational journey.”

LPS will also offer information about its Master of Liberal Arts and Master of Environmental Studies programs at an employee luncheon scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, in Houston Hall’s Ben Franklin Room.

Housed in the School of Arts and Sciences, Penn LPS offers innovative liberal studies programs on both the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with post-baccalaureate degrees and international and summer opportunities.
