Robert A. Fox Fitness Center in Weiss Pavilion
Opened since July, the Robert A. Fox Fitness Center in the Weiss Pavilion at Franklin Field gives Penn Recreation members another place to break a sweat and avoid rush hour at the Pottruck Center.
Located at Gate 2 within the Weiss Pavilion at Franklin Field, Fox Fitness includes state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, and Group Circuit Training classes led by PennRec’s team of nationally certified personal trainers.

1952 Year in which Robert A. Fox, president and chairman of R.A.F. Industries, a private investment company based in Jenkintown, Pa., graduated from Penn. He is currently an Emeritus University Trustee.

39 Number of top-of-the-line pieces of cardiovascular equipment at the Center. It also contains more than 35 pieces of strength-training equipment, free weights and dumbbells.
16-and-a-half Number of hours the Center is open on weekdays during the fall semester, 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The Center operates from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
15’’ Size of the video monitors built into the Center’s cardiovascular equipment. Exercisers can watch channels such as NBC, C-SPAN, MSNBC, PBS and Fox News. The machines are also iPod and MP3 compatible.
$20 Cost, per day, for a guest pass at the Center. A member may sponsor up to two guests per day.
$0 Cost to use a day locker at the Center. Locks, however, are required and must be purchased prior to arrival.
