WHAT:A dedication/ribbon-cutting for the Weave Bridge that provides pedestrian access over the Amtrak rail lines from the main portion of the University of Pennsylvania campus to the athletic fields and ROTC center at the Hollenback Center.The Weave Bridge is the first structure in the Penn Connects campus development plan to be finished.WHO:

PHILADELPHIA – Three urban leaders have been honored by the Penn Institute for Urban Research at the 5th Annual Urban Leadership Forum, “Building Competitive and Sustainable Cities,” at the University of Pennsylvania.

PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Pennsylvania has been recognized, along with the City of Philadelphia, for national security leadership. The announcement was made by the National Nuclear Security Administration today during a forum on campus.

PHILADELPHIA –- Visitors to the University of Pennsylvania’s Morris Arboretum are invited to watch as world-renowned sculptor Patrick Dougherty uses tree saplings, fallen branches and other forest material to create a large-scale sculpture, beginning March 30.
