Corey Metzman of Penn Named a 2011 Truman Scholar
PHILADELPHIA -- Corey Metzman, a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, has been awarded a 2011 Truman Scholarship.Metzman, who is pursuing a dual degree in Penn’s College of Arts and Sciences and Wharton School through the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, has traveled extensively for his studies and research.
Two Penn Campus Renovation Projects Garner LEED Gold Designations
PHILADELPHIA -- Two recent renovations on the University of Pennsylvania campus have been certified LEED Gold this month by the U.S. Green Building Council: The School of Arts and Sciences’ Music Building at 202 S. 34th St., and Joe’s Café, a new eatery in the Wharton School’s Steinberg-Dietrich Hall.

2011 Thouron Awardees Are Selected
CURF is proud to announce a Penn record-tying 7 Thouron Award winners! Grace Ambrose will graduate in 2011 from the College of Arts & Sciences with a BA in the History of Art, as well as a minor in Creative Writing. She has worked at the Whitney Museum in New York and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, and plans to study Curation while in the UK.
