This year marked the tenth anniversary of Homecoming featuring Arts and Culture at Penn and, like every year, featured a packed schedule of activities for decades of alumni.

Friday night’s roster of events included the Alumni Award of Merit Gala, a basketball game at the Palestra, and a dance party at the Institute of Contemporary Art. On Saturday, clear blue skies and a chilly wind presided over day two of Homecoming Weekend. It began with a brisk 5K, and included a gallery hop, Alumni Arts Fair, an Architecture Tour, 60-Second Lectures, and tailgate parties—so the dry skies were welcome.

The Quakers took on the Harvard Crimson for the annual Homecoming football game at Franklin Field—but suffered a heartbreaking loss. Following the game, College Green featured the Power of Penn Palooza, while alums gathered to hear panel discussions, enjoy wine, donuts, and sushi socials, or take in other sporting events, like volleyball and men’s soccer on campus.

Saturday night, the Platt Performing Arts House hosted the Stimulus Children’s Theatre 30th Anniversary Gala, and on Sunday, another blue-sky day was on hand for a tour of Morris Arboretum, before an evening concert at the Annenberg Center for Performing Arts brought another Homecoming Weekend to a close.
