The Penn wrestling team headed outside on Friday, Oct. 19, to officially kick off its season with its annual “Grapple On the Green” open practice on College Green. Running from 12 to 4 p.m., the event featured two sessions of practice as a new generation of Quakers was unveiled.

The “Grapple On the Green” practice session gives students and passers-by a close-up look at the sport, as a way to spark interest in wrestling as a spectator sport on campus as the season begins.
