Good news continues for the Penn gymnastics team.
The Quakers won the Lindsey Ferris Invitational on Sunday in Washington, D.C., with a team score of 194.925, the second-highest overall mark in school history.
On Wednesday, senior co-captain Natalie Yang earned Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Performance of the Week and sophomore Sara Kenefick was selected GEC Gymnast of the Week.
Yang, from San Mateo, California, won the beam on Sunday with a career-high mark of 9.875, which helped the Red & Blue accumulate 48.950 points in the event.
Kenefick, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, posted a 9.825 mark on the beam, a 9.800 on the bars, and a 9.650 on the floor.
Penn’s meet this Saturday at William & Mary has been canceled.
