The official index, “Leaders in LGBT Healthcare Equality Index 2018,” ranks healthcare institutions on policies, procedures and practices specific to its LGBT patients and their families.
Penn’s commitment to LGBT patient care across throughout its hospitals is enhanced by the Penn Medicine Program for LGBT Health, which is the nation’s first program to address the quality and progress of healthcare in the LGBT community.
