Spatz, the Helen M. Shearer Professor of Nutrition and Professor of Perinatal Nursing in the Department of Family and Community Health, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, the organization’s most prestigious honor.

In honor of Valentine's Day, and as a way of fostering community in her Shakespeare in Love course, Becky Friedman took her students to the University Club for lunch one class period.
