The Penn sprint football team cleaned up in the 2024 CSFL postseason awards. Cam Janock, Michael Malone, and Adrian Montemayor earned Player of the Year honors. In addition, nine Quakers earned a total of 10 All-CSFL honors.
For the third straight season, fourth-year Montemayor, a kicker and punter, landed CSFL Special Teams Player of the Year recognition. The senior went 3-for-4 on field goal attempts and converted 22 of 23 extra-point kicks.
Janock, a fourth-year defensive end, was named CSFL Defensive Player of the Year. He led the Quaker defense with 9.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks. He had 45 tackles, including 26 solo stops.
Malone, a first-year quarterback, earned CSFL Rookie of the Year praise. He was 62-131 for 803 yards and six touchdowns.
In addition to their major awards, Janock (defense) and Montemayor (offense and defense) earned First Team All-CSFL, while Malone (offense) landed Honorable Mention All-CSFL.
