    Louisa Shepard covers English, history of art, music, theater, classical studies, and cinema and media studies, among other subject areas, in the School of Arts and Sciences. She also supports coverage for the Kelly Writers House, the Graduate School of Education, the Penn Libraries, the Penn Museum, the Arthur Ross Gallery, and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, as well as fine arts in the Stuart Weitzman School of Design.

    Although an accomplished concert pianist, rising sophomore Teresa Xie of Chicago is not playing the ivories at the Settlement Music School during her RealArts@Penn summer internship. Instead, she is using her photography skills while learning about marketing music for the Philadelphia nonprofit.

    The Kelly Writers House has crowdsourced its chairs from the community. Some chairs are decorated based on a theme, including one that features photos and articles about benefactor Paul Kelly.
