On Saturday, May 12, at the University of Pennsylvania’s annual Ivy Day ceremony, student leaders were honored for their contributions to Penn.
Penn President Amy Gutmann and Provost Wendell Pritchett were among the presenters, while Class President Makayla Reynolds from Jensen Beach, Fla., served as host.
Held the Saturday of Alumni Weekend each year, the Ivy Day ceremony is a tradition that dates to 1873, commemorating Penn’s move from Center City to West Philadelphia and marking the opening of College Hall.
