The majority of first-year students began their Penn journey on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with the annual Move-In ritual, which runs like clockwork thanks to Move-In volunteers and staff and eases the transition for first-year students leaving the nest and kicking off their lives as undergraduates.

Penn Today offers a practical guide to undergraduates moving into College Houses between Aug. 17 and 23 and participating in New Student Orientation between Aug. 19 and 24.

New and returning undergraduates arrived on campus last week, attending welcome events and receptions, including an introduction to the Libraries, the Class Photo on Franklin Field, and an evening at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
