English major Misha McDaniel has been awarded a 2020 Beinecke Scholarship to pursue graduate education. McDaniel is one of 18 Beinecke Scholars chosen from throughout the U.S., and the 13th recipient from Penn since the award was first given in 1975.
The senior co-captain shined bright at the CSA National Collegiate Individual Squash Championships.
Four juniors have been selected as 2020 Goldwater Scholars by the Barry Goldwater Scholarship & Excellence in Education Foundation, to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering.
The director of track & field/cross country has been recognized by the Ivy League and the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The freshman guard led the Quakers to their best start in school history and was the second-leading scorer in the conference.
The first-year guard played major minutes and was the third-leading scorer on the Quakers.
The junior center led the league in blocked shots per game and was one of its top rebounders.
The College Squash Association acknowledged the team for their collective spirit and sportsmanship.
